Summertime Visit

"Inside of every man
is a little boy who
wants to come out and play"
It's hard to believe that our little Garrett is becoming
a young man who wants to come out and play!!!

Well, reverse the seating arrangement and add a few years!!!!
Neil helped Garrett learn to drive the stick shift,
that rite of passage for a young man.

It didn't take long and Garrett was driving the
'53 Willys up the canyon. He told us he can hardly
wait to get his drivers license so he can come and
visit us anytime he wants.

While Garrett was here we went up Grey's River
to Murphy Lake. We drove higher up the canyon
and ate lunch right next to this stream.

It didn't take long and Garrett was seeing if
there was any fish in this little raging steam.

At Murphy Lake Garrett proceeded to find just
the right spot and even....

set out two lines at the same time. He and grandpa
had a contest to see who could catch the most fish.
It was a very fun day. Just what summers are supposed
to be like!
