One morning I looked out my bedroom window and saw this guy coming so I hurried, still dressed in my bathrobe, grabbed my camera and ran outside to take a picture. I shouldn't admit how close I actually got to him to take this picture but he really wasn't the least bit concerned. I'm not sure I could have made it back to the safety of the garage if he had decided to give me a run for my money.
I had to take a picture of 10-10-10. I mean really! How often do we see this in our lifetime?
During the summer we kept making this Ginormous brush pile. It got bigger and bigger and we finally decided we better wait until the first snowfall to burn it so we didn't catch the forest on fire or something as bad. By the time I took this picture the pile was mostly gone. It really wasn't as dangerous as it looks.
We were sure grateful this year to have Zach, Ben, Lila, Mikan and Katie come to be with us for Thanksgiving dinner. It is always alot of work to fix any Thanksgiving meal but without the company the food wouldn't really matter anyway. We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family.
I am also so grateful that after we get Thanksgiving over with, and it seems like Mikan and Zach are always here to get the job, that we have strong bodies around to help us haul all the Christmas decorations down from the attic and they help me set up for Christmas. Lila is such a climber and she was determined to help.
